Build It Forward: Crafting Futures Together

Dear Friend,

As we approach the end of an inspiring spring and summer at Saratoga Joinery, I want to take a moment to reflect on the impact we’ve made together and share our vision for the future. In order to realize that vision, we need your help in reaching our fundraising goal of $30,000 by January 31, 2025. As part of our mission to make woodworking accessible to all, our membership fees are set low and cannot alone cover the costs associated with running our shop. Your support is instrumental in creating a vibrant community woodworking shop where creativity, skill-building, and collaboration flourish.

Since opening our doors in March, this shop has come alive in ways we couldn’t have anticipated. In eight short months, we’ve seen a thriving community take shape under this roof. We’ve seen people from diverse backgrounds come together to learn, share their skills, and transform raw materials into beautiful, functional pieces. The smiles and stories shared within our walls are a testament to the sense of community we strive to build. As we look to the future, we are excited to expand our programs to reach even more community members. With your continued support, we aim to develop youth programming, organize many more service hours to our community, and provide scholarships to individuals who wish to learn the craft but face financial barriers.

Contributions can be made here or by mailing a check made out to Saratoga Joinery to 69 Caroline Street Saratoga Springs NY 12866. No donation is too small; every dollar makes a difference in helping us create a space where creativity thrives. If you’d prefer to discuss your contribution first or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly at 518-212-7805 or tori@saratogajoinery.org.

Thank you for being a valued member of our community and for believing in the transformative power of woodworking. Together, we can continue to inspire creativity, foster learning, and build connections that last a lifetime.

In gratitude and sawdust,

Tori Colarusso, Executive Director
